Lunch is only RM29 while dinner is RM39. Kids get 50% off. At the moment, things are still fresh, so go now before they start giving out frozen meat! LOL

You can choose between beef, lamb or chicken or just take all three! And it's unlimited.

You can choose 2 out of 3 soup base that range from Shabu-Shabu, Sukiyaki and Kimuchi

The buffet line only provides all kinds of balls, mushrooms (they have more than 4 kinds and all fresh mushroom) and vegies. Sushi is provided as appetizer.

Free flow of ice cream with toppings for dessert and green tea is bottomless too. :)

After 4 days of Panasonic Evolta batteries lelong events, I just had enough of it. No one goes to a fair in a mall to get batteries. Only way of getting sales is by stating how much it is cheaper and what's the free gifts. Another word catch those cheapskate consumers which normally end up being duped. Well it's the whole plan of the company not me. I mean come on lucky draw?

So, the conclusion is that batteries are like chewing gums at the cashier and normally people will just forget about it.

Then when the remote controller for the AC ran out of batteries then they will run frantically around looking for people like me. :)

Apparrently the new Evolta Batteries just got it's Guiness World Record. Wow but actually who cares. Half of the people who bought from me make it aroun 200 people care less about it.

And the biggest bum is that after working so hard for 4 days my total sales in RM can be easily beaten by a new LCD 42" Panasonic TV in anytime. Gosh. Hard sell man!

To add to it, LCD TVs are selling like hot cakes for the price of it. And the worse thing is that customers comes to you coz they need stuff like TV and not batteries!

The URA (Urban Redevelopment Agency) in Singapore. For Milkmaid who has been there to eat but never tapao for me!

It's like the place where they plan and control how the development of Singapore will be done in the near future. Lol we use to have it too in DBKL, remember the KL Draft 2020?

But apparently when I drove all the way down there to found out it was only a book with stupid long clauses of rules and not a standard blue print is drawn. Even the full extension of the LRT is not laid out... (I was there to pay my DBKL summon actually)

Another great site on the property of Malaysia is (http://www.propwall.my/) Malaysia property. This is a site which allows user to log in and discuss and share opinion on the property around KL and beyond.

Photos and questions can be post and fellow users will comment and help out on enquiries about the discuss property. As it is running for sometime i find it very interesting for me to update myself on the latest projects which is carried out in Malaysia.

And for those are into the property surveying field, I guess it is a place to do discussion on the value of the area as informations such as price, developer, property details and even analysis can be found in there.

But for me as an architecture students, looking at the newest design on the current projects gives me some idea what I would like to do in the near future. At least that is what I hope to do. :)

Being a student in a local university college I witness friends especially those in their first year struggle to get a place to stay and at the same time juggling with orientation and preparation to start a new life in the new university life.

Having presented with provided hostel by the uni which is normally much more expensive than a room which is rented by a private owner, students might feel a little pressured having to choose between a much more economical choice from a much more troublesome option. Having in mind students from outstation or not familiar with the particular area may find hard to do research and know the actually pricing when it comes to room renting.

The worse case scenario is that you might even need to rent a whole house by urself as you can find a room mate in time as you about to move.

So now with a site in town which cater for students and beyond which is out to look for a place to stay and minus the trouble to running around doing research on the area. The best thing is that not only you can find a room which is suitable for you, you can also post up room in your which you wanted to rent it out to minus the burden of the heavy rental.

But it gives a new 'liveness' to the movie which was not shown in the book (due to my lack of imagination)

Worth: This I shall say Premiere Class that cost freaking 20 bucks that comes with a free glass of water. It can do Gold Class but due the fact antimatter is just a bomb... lol too bad!

Have you heard about the Fair Usage Policy that P1 W1max uses to ensure your speed?

Yeah! They actually have a policy to make sure that your speed do not fall because of others:

P1's Fair Usage Policy applies to all our customers but it will only affect you if you are one of the very few users who make inappropriate or excessive use of P1's service. Majority of users who do not frequently upload or download very large number of videos, very large files and use peer to peer (P2P) and file sharing software will not be affected.

There is a limit of twenty (20) Gigabytes (GB) of data usage per month (upload and download) for P1’s standard fixed broadband service. Our customers’ usage is monitored on a daily basis and the usage is calculated based on the total usage per month. Based on normal usage trends, most customers will not exceed this limit, unless large volumes of data are constantly uploaded and downloaded, or peer to peer and file sharing applications are used. As a comparison, using 20 Gigabytes of data per month is equivalent to downloading approximately more than 6,000 songs per month. This limit is set in addition to the Fair Usage Policy to ensure the best possible experience in terms of speed, quality and reliability for our customers.

If your data usage per month exceeds 20 Gigabytes, your broadband connection speed will be given lower priority during periods of high traffic usage and network congestion, and you may experience lower than average speed.

In shorter and lamer terms, it means that you will get faster speed by not allowing your neighbour download 20G of movies or songs 24/7 per month. Or else you will be crying your eyes out staying beside him!

And even if you are the one "accidentally" uses more than the 20G, your speed is only given priority to the rest. Which means if no one around you uses the line you will still get the same speed. How good is that?

But with the current wireless services by the rest of the provider I think even if you download 24/7 non stop you won't even hit the 20G cap.

My last post is on 7th November... gosh... I have not- NOT BLOG for such a long time.

It was a impossible thing to do as I have not really slept for the past 72 hrs... it's all model making, eating and trying to get *some* sleep.

Phew... glad that is over but two papers coming next week... hmm owhkay...

P1 New Office Preview

Despite being super busy, I was gladly to be invited to have a look at the new P1 office which is situated along Federal Highway near the exit to Jalan Templer.

This office is also the permanent hub for for P1 Wimax. So all the customer service and other services are done here.

The kind people of P1 was kind enough to bring us around to show us how the company function and how they strive to provide the best wireless broadband.

No, this is not a FBI office or some sort. It is actually the server room for P1 W1max. Now they are really serious about what they do!

The office is actually an old office which is renovated in to this state of the art top notch office.

Inside the building there's tonnes of facilities for the staff...

And something caught my attention while I was there...

The portable USB modem that will be launch soon! Yippie! But still no coverage at my area... *waiting patiently*

Finally I remembered to post about my axo drawing...

Hmm the tree look like a muffin...

Supposed to do explosion of the building... which means you literally explode the building into pieces of walls, roof and floor plan...

Opps...okay fine, I was sleeping... making models out of cardboard can be very tiring...

That was indeed me... not long ago in the studio when everyone else in the other courses are busy partying their ass off in Euphoria or something...

And I was busy

Seriously it was damn good... all the sticky substance...

My chair is born that very night... it can be a one seater, a two seater or a 'n' numbers of seater according to the amount of magazines you have...

Don't like it standing? Just recline it and you have your comfy lazing chair...

Wanna get funky? Open it up and pin it to the wall... then you will have a semi circular seat and a place to display your latest artwork at the top.

Actually staying up in the studio can be quite fun...

With the extra accompany... where we sang out hearts off with the laptop and screaming our lungs off in the middle of the night...

Creating a mess by scrapping off cardboard which we didn't clean up in the end... lol

Let's see what the rest has done:

A dream table... literally and non literally...

A tree lamp with non workable plug... lol I tried it with the power source...not working la Kimberley... fix it!

A fellow magaziners... who used magazines to weave this table... what a crazy girl...

Despite not sleeping and everyone ending up looking like zombies... our work are considered not up to standards... so we have to redo the whole assignment with a replacement assignment.... KNN

So, I guess we will have fun in the studio for another night soon... yippie!

Really interesting... but I'm more worried about the ISA case. With all these big huhah going around. People (politicians and media) will tends to chuck this away.

Malaysians being the cheapo nation, (as based to the success of Air Asia) are very money conscious.

So, when we are talking bout air tickets, mobile phone service provider, and now internet service provider, the 1st and most important factor will be price.

It can be damn good, but if it is expensive then it is out of the story. But if it's cheap and it cater to a minimal standard (like budget airlines) then it will most probably do the thing.

No nice post for National Day this year... because I love Malaysia but I dislike my country...

National Day is the only day in the year where everyone are embracing how happy they are living together in a country.

But this year, despite the lack celebrations due to the cut down cost by the govt (which I 100% support), the message was sent across more effectively (in a bad way)

With a lame copied logo and "ya right...." slogan the people can really see what they should embrace and despise.

Yesterday, Malaysiakini was notified by a reader that Anuar’s creation bore a strong resemblance to the Taiwan Excellence Award logo - used by the Taiwanese Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) and Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) for several years already.

Anuar stressed despite his references to the Taiwanese logo - which is a registered symbol - he has incorporated many original ideas into his eventual design.

50 percent borrowed

This included the rounded edges along the six lines, the large dots used in the middle and the use of three colours of the Jalur Gemilang, the Malaysian flag.

“At most, I borrowed 50 percent (from the Taiwanese logo).

"If one was to use 100 percent of another person’s design, that would be unacceptable,” he said.

Anuar said that his creation, which resembled three figurines crossing hands, was suitable to represent the spirit of national day as it symbolised national and racial unity.

His national day logo was selected from 800 entries in a government sponsored competition. Anuar was awarded RM10,000 for his work.

Anuar, 48, has been an artist for 25 years and was a former officer in the National Art Gallery.

It's really surprising how they manage to keep the "essence" of the logo and theme song after so many years...

I think even RTM 1 and 2's logo is much more up to date... hmmm

And if you notice, every year they will remind us how hard it was to gain independence, how far we have come and how much we have developed. But is that a right message to send out to the people? Does that mean we can just tuck our hands away and enjoy the "development" we are having now?

So I shall end this ranting with a much more sincere song which I think can send out much more message than all the 51 years of theme song add up together...

Yeap I was there. Nope, not as a blogger... but I was invited because I'm a worthy and needy scholar (as quoted by them) lol

All the "scholars" were conned to wear freaking thick blazer and to arrive at 1.30 pm. Despite of me being very punctual, the VIPs are only "suppose" to come at 2.30pm.

As the "scholars" are supposed to wait for the VIPs, I sneaked out of the ballroom and went to the coffee house for tea and newspaper. :p

So at 2.30pm...tonnes of boring speeches took place and the scholars... listened...

NOT... camwhored!!! Erm, Bas, Gayathree (Taylors) and Ivy (Sunway)

According to The Star ( I was in Genting and Ruums KL- so never watch news for 2 days), petrol price has reduce by 15 cents for the normal RON97 petrol... (I thought it will be on 1st of Sept?)

Damn it! I just noticed that I pumped petrol hours before it is announced! But whatever la, it's just a difference of few cents... wouldn't even hit another notch on my tank meter...

When it hike my meter dropped two notches

What a coincidence that it is "brought" forward... and it seems cabinet's decisions can be changed anytime... why aren't all these decisions made in the Parliament instead?

Hmm means I better renew my road tax earlier to get my RM625 and pump more petrol starting from today... or else they might even "scrap" it off... lol

After sketching a big piece of A3 in a week, nothing can be worse.

But I was terribly wrong because the next assignment is a sequential sketching of 5 (freaking FIVE) A3 sketches in 1 week...haha

And it was a site visit to KL Sentral... means much more complicated lines and building without using ruler and mechanical pencils!

So at 8.30am, the whole Interior Design and Architectural Technology class with 4 lecturer's took the super slow KTM to KL Sentral!

So it was damn sien! And that's Shirley...

Shirley acting pro with half of Kimberly... Obviously no one really sit there and sketch... therefore camera flashes everywhere

More students on location... see those people sitting there? They are actually sketching!

The damn building is full of beams and skeletal looking cum useless pipes on the ceiling.

Supposed to draw this... as I say... I'm supposed but due to the time constrain and my laziness...so....

A Beefy Affair

With the price hike on almost everything. Eg: my fave beef noodle=RM6 now, it's good to cook it yourself at home.

A big bowl of Beef Noodle (Thai Style) with tonnes of beef and spare parts...lol

Somehow it makes me miss bout Bangkok even more...I so gonna backpack to Bangkok on bus this year end!

P1 W1MAX in PC Fair 2008

Finally I got the real glance on the upcoming Wimax that is coming to us soon.

P1 set up a huge booth at the venue and gives out big paper bags through out the event

So, the next thing I did was to check out the modem...

The cool black modem the size of your sandwich bread (slightly bigger) which can be connected to you PC or laptop.

It can also be connected to your router so that u can have a wireless connection thru out the house with only using one modem... How cool is that?

Then, I checked out the speed and run the speed test

Pretty fast for a wireless and the guy there said that all the speed will be at average guaranteed.

Means you will get the speed you subscribe most of the time instead of the normal ISP's best effort speed which will never ever reach the speed you subscribe.

Then I tried how real it is by opening a 10 minutes Youtube video and it loads faster than it runs... Hmm I can really use that...

My Favourite Computer Game of All-Time

My favourite game of all time will definitely have to be Red Alert 2. It's like the very 1st computer game that I was introduced to at that time...

Yar, I'm slow and outdated...

But after so many years of gaming...sometimes my favourite games always makes me hate the real world...

I mean why is it in the gaming world, things are so much easier?

Don't agree?

Diablo II for instance...

All you have to do is walk around, opening stash or kill some small little animal...and

Waala... you get gold! In the real world, you have to wake up early in the morn, stuck in jam, do repetitive boring job, suck up to the boss... or even lick some *insert your %$#$ preferences* just to get a pay which can't buy you a peanut...

Or in Warcraft 3 or Dota

If you wish to go shopping in 1U and you are staying in Cheras....

Just use the Scroll of Town Portal and you will home in seconds... no petrol no polution and best no need to care bout petrol price hike...

Or if you are tired or worn out

Just gulp down a bottle of Mana Potion and your mojo/magic/energy will be restored.

Or worse... if you fail your examinations... then...

Just get yourself a Mystic Staff or something... it will automatically increase your intelligence... lol ya right *really challenging my intelligence now*

And the most recent game which I love would be, Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars

It's so illogical that tiberium (aka the source of all stuff) is laying around on the floor and it can be harvest and turn into everything... humans unit or building unit... don't even need an architect or engineer... lol if only... or else I can stop studying already!

But it will be very nice if we were to be in a gaming world, imagine when you are playing Counter Strike

You can own a sniper and shoot at enemies without even have to go for any training...

If only I can live in the world of my favourite games. Imagine the convenience and the amount of things I can just do with the end of my finger tips.

I can do assignment by buying a magical pen or go to movies by using a scroll and the best will be...

Being able to yumcha with my friends from Rawang, Kepong, Damansara, Cheras or even UK at the same time... Wahaha

Spaghetti Fever

Recently having a damn bad craving on spaghetti and pasta. So here's a whole post on spaghetti only...

Cooking spaghetti is really easier than it seems... just cheat, by buying one of those above... unless you are ready to slaughter your own chicken and turn it into stock and wander for hours in the forest to look for wild mushroom... lol

Prego is one of my favourite brand because they produced one of the best cream sauce ever... even better than Italianiese...

There's just a few things to take note when cooking pasta...

Please cook the pasta al-dente. Which means soft enough but not too soft till it break...

Normally cooks will take a strand of pasta and throw it at the wall... if it sticks then it is done...which is crazy... throw in my mouth better...

My way is... get the water to a boil, chuck the spaghetti in with low flame... slowly stir till the whole strand immerse in the water...

Then increase the flame till it is really boiling...cover the lid and leave it for 10-15 minutes aside... don't open it until it is 10 minutes... (normally pasta wont overcook, so the longer the better)

Then I like to brown the sausages...

And the mushrooms... when I say brown, it means brown not black...

Add in the sauce (up to u how much it will be), add cream and water...

Salt, sugar and pepper to taste...

I only add in my cheese at the end after I turn of the flame... I don't cook my cheese... it might have some chemical reaction or some kind that will make it powdery or runny...

And if you were to add prawns into it, make sure you cook it seperately... I hate overcooked prawns...those brittle/powdery type... prawns will continue cooking in the dish if the dish is hot...

So, I will cook it in another pan and once cook I will stop it from overcooking by chucking it into cold water... and only add to the pasta when everything is done...

The Secret Recipe inspired Prawn Pasta with Mushroom... extra cream and extra cheese!

With that you can have Smoked Sausages and Beef Balls Spaghetti.

Seafood and Mushroom Carbonara with Chili Padi Paste. ( I use to cut chili padi into it...but I find it too mild...so now I blend it and add it into the sauce... every part of the orangy sauce is due to the colour of the chili... wahaha)

So that's all for now...lemme think of more varieties to share with you all later... for now I need to finish my sketch... die la this Friday due and we are going for a site trip to KL Sentral and that will have 5 sketches to be done in 1 week...

Ishh cincai sketch a few stroke and tell the lecturer to imagine that is the trains la... lol!

Back to story, this happened in Taman Connaught's Giant and when I pass by the big lorry was removed and there's like another vehicle in there which is completely canai-ed!

OMFG! I saw blood stains too! And no I didn't stop and watch, I spotted it while honking and speeding at 80km/hr....

As you can see, my recent post is all picture loaded and it is obvious that I do not have the time to type anything.

I have to sleep, eat, watch TV, hit the gym, meet friends, go shopping and sleep again. And imagine how it will be when I starts Uni.

That's why it will be a great help for me if I can bring my internet everywhere so that I can blog wherever I am.

Imagine what if I can blog when I run on the threadmill, or when I'm watching TV waiting for the commercial to end or even when I am answering nature's call in the toilet?

Then Wimax comes into the picture, imagine if your laptop is Wimax connected then it means your are connected everywhere you are.

Whether you are in a hotspot at Starbucks, at home when you are far away from your land line eg: the lawn or even on the go in the train or something.

Without looking like that...

And Nokia has even launch a new phone, N810 which is going to ben Wimax enable. So this means that it will track out the signal like how PDA phones track out Wifi in the hotspots.

And laptops are also going to be developed to cater Wimax without even having to plug in the modem.

But those will need sometime for it to hit Malaysia. But one thing that we can look forward to is definitely a wireless broadband which is very reliable. It's coming faster than you can blink... so stay tuned then!

It was super duper nice despite being a little pricey in Ipoh terms but definitely hard to get in KL

Are You Happy Paying RM110 Per Month?

It's really sickening to pay 110 bucks per mth and not getting 1.0Mbps of speed. It's so freaking unfair especially when my sis only pays like 20SGD (RM47.60) for her 2.0Mbps (most of the time and btw it's wireless somemore)

Why does a country with a higher standard of living than ours, pays lesser for better broadband? This is really daylight robbery. Especially when considering that ISP got really not much cost to pay for unlike the rest of the business.

I mean it's all electric and impulses after all. And the consumer is practically got nothing to hold on to (other than the modem) and it's so freaking expensive.

And they can argue that the infrastructure is expensive yada yada yada but if the price is cheaper than there will be more users right? More users=more money (with the condition that it fast despite the numbers of users).

I think the only reason why TM Net is not paying attention to us consumers is because of the lack of competitor. If you still remember the price war between Digi, Celcom and Maxis back then? I think the price of SMS has decreased from 30cents to now which is almost free.

So, when our only "quite fast and still usable" broadband lies in the hand of one company, it's quite normal that it is somehow overcharge.

Hopefully with Wimax coming into the whole picture, it will create some competitions with Streamyx. And I do believe price is a very important factor... after all we are Malaysians.

For Wimax to succesfully snatch the monopoly from Streamyx, it is definitely have to be lower than Streamyx in terms of price. I mean if it's much more expensive, not many people will take the trouble and risk to switch over to Wimax eventhough it is say to be more mobile.

Well, as a typical Malaysians, I always thinks that we will go the distance just to get cheap and good services. And in this case, it will have to be cheaper, faster, more mobile and more reliable than Streamyx.

With that done, I think TM will be fine going back to do it's landline business.

And it is said that Wimax contract is given out to 4 companies which are none associated to any telco company. So, this means they have to also make sure that the payments can be done easily.

These must at least includes Pos Malaysia, credit cards, online banking, atm machines and banks. It will be better it can be done in 7-11 or other kiosk just like those prepaid services.

So, what do u expect from the upcoming Wimax in terms of price then?

Hate Your Broadband? Worry No More!

How much hatred do u have over your broadband provider? For me, I think an atomic bomb targeted to the Menara TM should do the case.

After coming back from Singapore, I already miss my sister's internet connection. It's fast, cheap, mobile and quite stable if you compare to the one we have here.

I mean for 20SGD per mth you get like almost 2Mbps most of the time.

Freaking hell it's like half the price of my TM Net Streamyx and 4 times faster.

It streams Youtube so fast that it loads the whole season even before u can finish watching the 1st part of your pilot. (Maybe not that fast la, but at least u don't need to wait)

So tell me how can I'm not furious over TM Net now?

Then there's a shine of light from heaven. Ever heard of Wimax?

WiMAX, the Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access. In my term, it's actually a higher boosted Wifi that you can get everywhere because of the coverage. You can read more if you are a techy person.

So here's the deal, imagine what can you do if Wimax can overcome all your internet connection problems.

One: Like the normal TM Net broadband. It's fixed, it's slow, it's sometimes unstable and you can't even travel with it. And don't forget how TM Net deals with troubleshooting.

Two: Then, you have your Wifi, which is fast and quite stable but with a catch. You need a hotspot. So, if you ain't staying beside a Starbucks and you can forget about it.

Even if you are staying near one, beware they might close down anytime soon. US closed down 600 of it's Starbucks. Haha

Three: What about the wireless broadband then? The USB modem with a SIM card in it. I've personally used my sister's old connection and it is nothing as they claim.

It's unstable (as in very) and speed never ever reaches 50% of what the promised. Waliao eh! And I've compared those provided by Maxis and Celcom. It's much more expensive than my Streamyx and half the speed.

That will be the last thing I ever need...

So, Wimax is finally coming to Malaysia. (Thank god) And it can do all the things you current internet provider can't.

This means Wimax will be both fast and mobile... Hmm nice!

And Wimax is going to be expanding into other gadgets as well. So far Nokia has announced that N810 will be Wimax compatible. (The thing I needed now, a replacement for my lost Hp)

And laptops will soon be Wimax compatible just like how the current laptops with WLAN provided.

This could really change everything. Imagine one technology for all the gadgets. Hmm how nice?

So, stay tuned for more info on Wimax. They are reaching us faster than you think. *fingers crossed*

Saya akhirnya dah balik selepas 5 hari. Oleh itu saya sangat rindu akan Bahasa Melayu... dan yang paling saya rindu ialah berita politik Malaysia!

Ini hari tengok itu debat (lol debate) kat TV pasal itu Anwar and itu Menteri Info... haha sangat err...interesting la.

5 hari shopping manyak best, tapi hanya beli sepasang kasut Puma yang aku sampai hari ini masih sangat happy dan yang lain lain tidak perlu dimentionkan.

Takpe la skarang dah hilang hp kena berjimat dah untuk beli yang baru.

Ciri-ciri hp baru: Kamera 2.0 ke atas, ada mp3 dan radio, kena boleh wifi, touch screen kalau ada lagi cantik...siapa mau rekomen?

Super busy! Excuse for not blogging again...

Yesterday is the special screening of Hancock by Nuffnang. The movie was great and Nuffnang is awesome as usual for giving us the chance to gather and watch movie together :) And it's free...

Today, went to Pavilion and window shop the whole day. Yes! Another day of success (avoiding temptations)... damn attracting sales... Guess, Levis, Topman and Nike! Damn it....

But luckily I didn't buy anything cause I'm going Singapore this Thursday. And there's a reason not to overspend as my savings are meant for other purposes like gadgets.

So, if the sales are over when I return or out of stock, then it's a blessing to my wallet.

I didn't know shopping with someone and waqtching that person doing all the purchasing is that fun. Especially when I am able to refrain from all the temptations.... Wahahaha

What I can say bout this case is that a blogger only have to answer to him/herself what kind of a blogger he/she should be... I'm not saying that Dawn is not wrong for making all those lies but well maybe that's her way of blogging? ( I mean it's not wrong to live in denial right?)

Just like how Paris Hilton always denies that she is a dumb blonde. And she returns with seasons after seasons of Simple Life... So why not?
