Malaysia East Coast (Pulau Kapas) Trip 2008-Day 2 ( Snorkelling At Last!)

This post should have been done long time ago and I know it's very long awaited (there's people out there who want to read it, so shaddap if you are not one of them) Lol. So let see...

On day 2, we went snorkeling at last. Day started as usual with breakfast.

P4220476

A scrumptious breakfast. Fine, it's not that scrumptious. *lolz* And that's not my serving. Mine was x10, imagine it ya!

CIMG3026

What is a holiday breakfast without a cup of coffee. Note: I said holiday breakfast cause I don't take breakfast or lunch at home. *wahaha*

P4220480

All (me) busy digging in and chit chatting.

Then it's to go snorkeling at the other end of the island.

CIMG3051

Not by walking, but by boat of course

P4220598

A very unstable boat which drive the girls crazy everytime there's a big wave coming.

P4220604

Some tak malu fella trying to fake her way to take pictures and tell people that she went snorkelling. Fact: She is the swimmer who didn't went snorkeling. *lolz*

P4220607

And this is how clear the water at the snorkeling spot.

CIMG3055

Our stop. A deserted shore with a huge tree as shade. Well more for the "swimmers" who didn't want to snorkel.

P1000467

And it's time.

P1000470

Getting use to the water and the gear. Hmm wait a minute. I thought I can't swim? Well it's super alright with the safety jacket. Hmm "swimmers" =.=

P4220611

Floating corpse. *choi choi*

CIMG3072

A super rare sight. Kenny Choo in the water. *wink*

CIMG3070

Don't blame me. I live in a valley with no sea. And All my life I've been either living on the hill, 15th floor apartment or now worse a mountain. Lol no flood anytime soon.

CIMG3063

Forgive her sampatness. She have nothing else to do. And no we wont pull u out if you stuck in there.

P4220609

Very interesting "hole". What's with all the hole formation?

CIMG3068

How nice if I can snorkel everyday? Like how nice if this is outside my front yard. *dream*

The snorkeling spot is fairly good with lotsa fishes and a number of coral. Just beware of jelly fishes and sea urchin. Lolz panic when saw a bunch of sea urchin wiggling their spikes at me few inches away.

No pics underwater too cause I was too confident that Pulau Kapas is modernised enough to have a 7-11 which sell disposable underwater camera.

But I came out with a solution later. Stay tuned on the next post to find out. And now is that time again. Postcard pictures!

CIMG3094

P4220508

CIMG3103

CIMG3076

P4220509

P4220625

And then we found something that can be brought out of the water.

P4220618

Eang Bee's best friend: The Sea Cucumber!

P4220622

Very deadly, at least to her. Cause:

EB: Eeee soo disgusting. *Poke poke*...
HR: Ah Bee! The camera! *pointing at the half dipped-in-water camera*
EB: Ahhh!!! *screams*

Note: Sea water is super deadly to electronics. Believe me. None of the gadgets in the trip which has contact with the sea water had survive.

P4220621

Anyhow the sea cucumber still camwhored.

P4220620

Pose pose.

P4220619

ANTM pose!

CIMG3099

No these ain't normal rocks.

CIMG3095

It's oysters. (Ah shaddap, it's not clam. It's oysters!) U can even spot a pearl. Lololol

After that we went back to our own beach and have chill. And we spotted:

P4220493

Two kids making sand castle.

P4220593

A girl who is making cookie dough but end up with a dinosour nest. Lol

CIMG3106

A heart shape stone/coral/whatever.

CIMG3032

A crap (crab).

I think that's all for now. Here's something for you. Kinda crappy.

P4220623

It's the stuff that came out from the sea cucumber after we played with it for a while. Hmm...hopefully he is alright... *whistle and roll eyes*

Btw, I just found out that Sumatera had earthquake moments ago. And Klang Valley is feeling the after quake. Hmm... 1st some Najis (Nargis) Cyclone in Myanmar*I know I know, serious note*, then the Sichuan Tofu Quake *sorry * and know Sumatera Quake. WTF right!

The Earth is really furious now. I mean with all these disasters and unpredicted weather. I still remember studying in geography period about the monsoon according to the month and how it will flood in the year end due to the heavy rain (musim tengkujuh *lolz I still can remember, thanks Mr. Subra). But nowadays, I think we can see how serious it is when we have flood in the middle of the year and drought in the end of the year.

The Earth is following up with our very own Malaysian election trend. Undi protest (Protest vote)! Lol. *ahem* I mean that the Earth is really voicing up.

So let's all do something and not be like UMNO still living in fantasies that the whole situation is alright. Hmm... I think all of us really need to do something to work together to help the disaster victims and the Earth.

And not doing stupid decisions and comments like Mahathir making a fuss of leaving UMNO and all. I mean there are so many other things that happen in the world and these so call important people only care about their rich ass. (Other than that I still respect Mahathir's wits but not his way of doing things)

Thank god Malaysia is still very much safe from all these unwanted happenings. And to the important people out there, this is really a time to reflect on this kinda stuff. I mean what is the point of having political powers, financial advantages and fame when a country is facing a life threatening disaster.

Hmm… so we all should really be grateful. It’s not impossible that we will be one of the 30, 000 victims in Sichuan one day. And then we will know what is the real meaning of “nothing else matters other than being alive”.

Will update about this soon and search on the ways to donate to these victims.

And and...lolz lotsa extra note today. Happy Birthday Chooi Yee!

Fishing My Way To Made Of Honor

Still remember once I mentioned about the Kiap Kiap A Fly game? Lolz the one I enjoy playing very much. Now they have the sequel to the game.

It's FlipFlop Flippy. What the fish right? All the weird names.

Yeap it's as cute as the fly game and anything to do with fishy will be fine with me. And the best part is that 40 Nuffnang players with the highest score will win a movie premier. More info here.

So here's my try. Not easy I tell you. *swt swt*

Well that is the 1st part of the post and for the second part. As you all know I got myself a piece of beef jerky in Pudu to do fish marketting.

And this is what I bought. A dwarf pufferfish!

Cute right. *Say cute or die!*

Shining gold colour on the head.

Wiki: The dwarf pufferfish, also known as Carinotetraodon travancoricus is a small, freshwater pufferfish endemic to the River Pamba in Kerala, Southwest India. The smallest pufferfish in the world. Although closely related to marine pufferfish, they are not found in brackish or salt water, and reports to the contrary are based on misidentification.

Puffer Fish are the second most poisonous animal in the world, the first being a Golden Poison Frog.

Wahaha! So cool. Now I can tell everyone I have the world second most poisonous animal with me. So, don't mess with me or my fishy will end up in your stomach. Wahaha.

It's actually a Japanese delicacy called Fugu, if it's prepared properly. But I know nuts on how to prepare it, so if the fish will end up in your stomach, most probably you will need an ambulance. *evil grin*

And my pimped 2.0 Version aquarium. Gonna get some carpet grass and more fishies soon!

Shall end this post with the rest of the fishies. Wahaha camwhores!

I Freaking Wanna Travel!

I so want to travel to Manila, Jakarta, Kuching, Bandar Seri Begawan, Ho Chih Minh, etc etc. Yeap I know it's all SEA and Msia.

Let me finish going around SEA then only I will travel to the rest of the world. And freaking hell, I'm not that rich ok! I'm paying this next few trips on my own.

Any sponsors? Anyway, MAS is having Everyday Low Fares (RM0) promo. To Msia and SEA. Freaking hell. That means I only need to pay like RM150 for the tax only to fly to Bangkok!

And it's like 5 star airseat with Air Asia rates! Imagine the reclining seats, the legs space and the TV screen. And the best part! Free food!

But then Air Asia is not giving up. What is lower than zero fares? Sub zero fares! Crazy man!

They are reducing the price for the insurance and the airport tax for this Sub-Zero Air Fares Promotion. OMGness!

But I think Air Asia is still not doing good enough. Come on, it's only RM13 plus cheaper. I don't mind paying 13 bucks for better seats.

And mind you that the taxi to LCCT is much more expensive than KLIA. *Lololol* I know I'm a smart (cheapskate) traveler!

*Haih* but I think I will probably give it a pass on this promo. The booking period is going to end soon and I don't freaking know when will I be free since I don't know when is my uni starting!

And the fact that I don't have a travel clique. It's really a pain in the ass to get people to travel together. Must make sure time and financial aspect matches. But airlines promo like this don't freaking give you the time to sit down and discuss bout it!

Being the organizer for a few trips, I think I better off backpacking myself. Seriously going on a trip with another person with different travel philosophy can really kills the mood. Imagine arguing bout the choice of food, choice of place to visit, transport, etc etc.

And the worse of all the last minutes ffk-ers (sorry my mum don't allow and stuff) even though everything is booked and paid for!

Hmm shall see how it goes. Maybe by the end of the year when all my uni stuff is no longer bothering me I shall go backpacking by bus to who knows where. Maybe all the way to Vietnam and drop by Thailand on the way just like how Nicolekiss did it.

Anyone wanna join?

Beef Jerky (Updated)

I'm back!!! At least my mood is. Not gonna emo that long and end up having mood swings like Eang Bee. Lololol

And I went to Pudu to get more stuff for my fishy and on the way back I was fed with a piece of beef jerky.

Yeap! You're right! Beef jerky or Ngau Yook Korn= Compound.

Apparently my didn't put enough money into the meter. Swt! It was a Sunday for godsake. But something happen after that. Not that bad after all. :P

Gonna update on that soon. Pictures not ready yet. And to any family members out there, case settled without mum knowing, so shooot!

Continuation:

DBKL compounds actually need not to be paid. Coz they don't freaking care bout it and they have no data base exchange with the JPJ nor the PDRM.

But I have too many things to worry about and another legal case to add on to the list is not the most ideal thing to do.

So I went to the DBKL office in Bandar Tun Razak. It was freaking new and nice. And as I was ready to sacrifice my RM100 note, the lady ( the makan kuih at counter kind) said:

Encik, you mau bayar sini? Sini bayar 100 kalau bayar kat Jalan Raja Laut murah sikit.

Being a cheapskate, I dashed down to Jalan Raja Laut. Well after my gym that is. It's lunch hour that time!

I used to think that this is the Parliament building. Ahhh shaddap! I was young okay!

I mean, they are rectangularish and ugly right? *dumb blonde*

To my surprise, the place is renovated.

It's freaking nice and see the LCD screens? OMGness looks better than a bank.

Look at the chairs. But wait... with all these newly installed, you will start to wonder how much money was spend or in another words corrupted for this renovation.

Lol! When other country has nice government offices, we think that they are cool. And when our country have it the 1st thing that come to our minds is how much money does the person in charge get to put into his pocket.

Well that's the fact what!

Then there's this office for the Pegawai Kompaun *lol to the spelling*. It's like you go in there and being interogated (interviewed) and then he will give you a discount. Lolz.

And I got myself a 70% discount!

Cool right?

But here's a tip for paying your DBKL kompaun/saman/etc etc.

Always head down to the main office in Jalan Raja Laut. But don't freaking drive there.

Take the freaking LRT to Bandaraya station. The open air (yes say it again, OPEN AIR) carpark cost RM3.50 per hour. Crazy! Or you can just park in Sogo.

Opposite of the DBKL building is the KWSP building. And I haven't got my on9 acc activated yet.

And I'm yet to check whether Monroe Consulting had paid my EPF. Yeap Monroe always pays late. So you all better check your account.

Wah! So canggih and pintar. LOL

It reads my half ripped MyKad and thumb print! And it prints unlimited statement for FREE! Cool right?

Well I printed 2 only. 2007 and 2008. And yeah, Monroe did pays me at last. But the fact that you can get a piece of printed paper for free is really out of this world. Come on, this is Malaysia ok! You can't even get free tissue in public DBKL toilet remember!

And if you think that is cool, check this out!

Drive thru counter! Like the one in McD. But I doubt you will get discount if you pay thru drive thru. Wahaha!

Note: *Haihz* Marie Gigby is in town. Yeap she is the Youtube gal who sang the acoustic umbrella ella ella~~. Her new album is out and she will be in 1U at 8pm today. Wanted to go but thinking of parking in 1U really dampen my mood!

Shall listen to her new song... Say It Again hmm~~~
My very alive... please bear with me for a little while... I swear I will be back!
