Catching Up

Whoa, only been away for 4 days and once I return there's so many things to be done. Just attended an interview for a scholarship. The interview was damn fun, being questioned by 6 panels. (how intimidating) But I somehow damn enjoy it.

Really interesting interview! It went so far that they wants to read my blog and even largely projected it to the screen. *lololol* The word blog just slipped out my mouth (as they were asking wtf I've been doing at home all these time) and they were pretty interested. Luckily no controversial and political post lately.

So to the panels, if you are reading, I SERIOUSLY WANT THE SCHOLARSHIP, though I know it's kinda difficult as 10 people are fighting for one place. ONE ONLY! So much so, I thought that my certs was relatively "a lot", until the guy opposite me brought out his file, and he got double the thickness. *Swtness* Dude, you attended school to study or to collect certs?

More on the interview later on. And another thing took place when I was away on the 23rd April. It's Jeffrey's birthday. Freaking god, how can I forget about it. No wonder I felt something is happening when I was having a good time in Cotton Island.

Anyhow, I paid back by bringing him to makan. So we met at Sunway Pyramid after my interview.

Gosh, he is so freaking busy with his assignment, the last time we met each other is like 2 weeks time or so. So much so that I'm in Cotton Island, he called to checked out whether I'm dead! *lololol*

So we went to have lunch at this place, Wendy's. It's like the new Carl's Jr, or something. So far only can be found in Pyramid.

They serve good burgers and potatoes. Good price. In between of Carl's Jr and A&W.

The birthday boy with his 1/2 Pounder Cheese Burger. Freaking god, they even have 3/4 Pounder. HAPPY BIRTHDAY YAR!

My Supreme Fish Fillet Burger or something.

Cheese & Cheese Baked Potato and Chili & Cheese Baked Potato.

The food was pretty decent. Better than A&W and slightly lower than Carl's Jr. And it doesn't comes with a overcharged price. The only problem is lack of variety.

And the name of the restaurant just can't help of me to thing of...

Wendy Cheng aka XiaXue. *lololol* The blond hair and the fake eyelashes.

Currently I'm still super busy editing and uploading pictures. My freaking god. 4 digi cams = hundreds of pictures. So please be patient for a while. I will try my best to post it soon.

Other than if you are as hungry as them...

It's super crazy enough when you feed them from the boat. Just imagine when u are snorkeling. And the comes in all kind of colours. Pretty cool huh?

Returned From The Cotton Island

I'm back!!! Now SLEEPZzz!!!

Lions Day Out

This is a drafted post. Yeap, I'm still in Pulau Kapas and will only be back after a few days. Enjoy the post ya! I will also, the vacation. Muahaha.

I know CNY past like many millions months ago, but this post is super uber cool. So must share!

Ever wonder what do the lions in lion dance do when they are not performing? They work out. Here's the evidence.

So, one fine day. Mr and Mrs Lion went to California Fitness to work out their ancient muscles.

We are there already! Can you like wake up now?

So this is the gym which Jackie Chan opens. Cool! (looking at the sign)

Mr and Mrs Lion signed in their membership.

And they produced their couple card to the receptionist.

After that they went to the lockers and get done.

Doing some streches.

Mr. Lion courting a girl a the treadmill. Luckily Mrs. Lion was not around.

Mrs Lion didn't lose out either. Man: You look hot and furry!

Their personal trainer.

Working out.

Doing crunches the lion's way.

Mr Lion wants a big biceps.

After working out, diet is also very important.

Eat your vergie...

And fruits. (Mandarin oranges)

After a long day, it's nice to laze at the poolside. Courting another girl. Man, you're married to a lion for godsake!

So I guess that was how lions work out and I shall go laze by the seaside. Wish you are all here. Ya right. Go do your work now!

Music Parody?

Yeap, I'm still in Pulau Kapas. So this is also another drafted post. Enjoy!

The music industry has come a very long way and almost everything is done under the sun. So, it's not surprising that some song do sound like some.

So let's here some shockingly sound alike songs which they claimed just merely coincidence.

I bet most of you heard Justin Timberlake-What Comes Around Goes Around.

But do you believe if I say there's a Chinese version of it? And to all the C-Pop fans out there? Ever notice Zhang Dong Liang-You Xi?

There's some similarity that is really mind boggling. But both of the song are release almost at the same period but JT's ones did release 1st. Hmmm....

What do you think if I say David Tao (The King of Chinese RnB) accidently copied a few notes from the famous Spice Girls?

Spice Girls- Say You'll Be There

And then David Tao- Walk On

It's not really obvious, but a true fans of the above will definitely notice it. In this case, I'm the fan of both! Haha (Spice Girls released in the 90's and Tao in the 2006.

Then's there is the translation version. Malay to Chinese. English to Chinese. Chinese to Malay. Malay to Hindi. Tamil to Chinese. Etc, etc...

Updated fans of C-Pop will notice the act-cute singer Cyndi Wang's new single Hi Hi Bye Bye.

But do you know that the original song is actually Malay? And it's a hit here in Malaysia.

Same title, Hi Hi Bye Bye by Ezzlyn. I personally thinks that the Malay version is so much better and if you can understand both, u will agree that the Malay lyrics is so much better.

Here's something for the fans of Ning Baizura, it's Awan Yang Terpilu.

It's changed to the Chinese version by a Malaysian singer which is the Runner Up of a singing contest in Singapore. She did quite well in Taiwan with her rendition of the Chinese version of From Paris to Berlin.

Shi Xin Hui- Ni Gei De. I love both version. Both are powerful singers!

Enough of Asian copying Asian. Do you know that the song Take Me To Your Heart by Micheal Learns To Rock is originally a Chinese song?

The original song. Wen Bie by Jacky Cheung. But I only can get the Andy Lau's version.

It's kinda obvious the English version do have some flaws here and there cause it's meant to be a Chinese song.

And the last one will be the most shocking one. What if I say the powerful Destiny Child also covered a Chinese song?

Brown Eyes by Destiny Child.

The original song. Lian Ren Wei Man by SHE.

Who ever thought that the powerhouse will cover a song from the cutesy girl group from Taiwan.

But no matter what the language or the resemblance, one thing is that I got nothing against covers or song in other languages. I think music is just borderless and shouldn't be restrain by the language. So kudos to all the singers who copied and covered songs in different languages.

My First Ever Tag Here

Suppose to do long time ago. But since I'm away at Pulau Kapas. Here is the tag I done and saved before I left.

Tagged by Shu Wei.

The rules:-

1. Link to your tagger and post these rules.
2. List eight (8) random facts about yourself.
3. Tag eight people at the end of this post and list their names.
4. Let them know they’ve been tagged by leaving them a comment on their blogs.

So this is it:

#1: I'm very observant for the wrong things. Always noticed stuff that people don't normally notice.

And not always the good side of things. Hmmm. So bad so that I always see people I don't want to meet thousand miles away and allow me to walk away :P

#2 I live in a very wrong time zone as I sleep at 5am and wakes up at 2pm.

You might think that I only able to do that when I am not studying or working like now. But the truth is for the past 5 years, I never slept earlier than an average time of 3am. Haha

#3 I only eats one meal per day now a days.

All thanks to my weird time zone.

#4 I'm a super perfectionist!

I do everything with details, especially the things I like. I can just spend 30 minutes just to make sure the layout of this post is perfect. But that doesn't apply to the cleanliness of my room.

#5 My average time bath time is never less than 30 minutes.

Dude! Are you crazy? That's what I get most of the time. But you see, I have a built in spa in my toilet. So I guess that's the time I take then.

#6 I love my TV very much. I my record is watching TV 24 hrs non stop.

Not impressive? How about me bringing the remote controller to school then? I used to do my homework in front of the TV till late night. So, blurness + sleepiness = packing the remote in my pencil case

#7 I have multiple personalities. To some I'm the happy go lucky chatterbox, to the others I'm the emo kid who likes to go out alone.

I like the fact that I can be anything I want and not stuck by a stereotypical trait just because u are a who or what. To prove my school principal wrong, a doctor also can have spiky hair. (The thing that he always objects)

#8 Eight random fact I seriously a lot. I like exposing myself out like that. *Naked* So I shall end this with this.

To much surprise to most of my friends. I'm a super noob in the thing call love. No super hurtful experiences or what. Just that I think I always just don't have the fate (wrong time, person or place-both party). But currently is still very happy with who marital status. Which is kinda complicated :P Haha!

So now, I shall tag 8 people:
1) Jess- You are still new in blogging. So, something for you to do then.

2) Kelly- You better do it once your blog is up. Haha

3) Kevin Tan, 4) Kelvin Kuan, 5) Kok Hong - All three which I would like to tag for the 1st time. 1st tag from me ark! proud right?

6) Kit Mun- Do it ya! But when you are not busy with your assignment

7) Ming Tien

8) May Szin

and everyone who is in my link. Leave me a comment once you done it so that I can read it up and know you better.
My very alive... please bear with me for a little while... I swear I will be back!
