Yes! At last I got the pictures for the 1st post ready. 1st post only ark! Means there's like a dozen more sets to go. Swtness.
But this trip is really special to me. I did lotsa 1st times here. Read on and stay tuned to find out.
Well, this is the 1st time I step into the East Coast. Yea! I never been to Kelantan, Terengganu nor Johore's East Coast. Unless my parents used to bring me there when I was young. I was born in Johor okay!
So, we left KL to Marang, Terengganu at 11pm at night. This is also the 1st time I took a night bus!
Notice Pei Wen's bantal busuk. Everyone getting ready for the night bus ride.
We left the Putra Bus Terminal near PWTC and in no time we are at Marang already.
The bugger drove so fast, that it even overtakes cars like Perdana and Vios. Swtness!
So we end up too early at the Jetty. There's no blardy ship at 6am in the morning.
All the ferries company are not even open yet. But there's tourist there already. Most of them also choose to take the late night buses. No joke, the journey is almost 7 hours okay!
So we had to seek refuge at the very well maintained playground there. Shame on those in KL. And luckily no mosquitoes! 1st time stranded in a place in the middle of the night. Wahaha!
So with nothing to do we took pictures.
Me emoing as the sun going to rise.
And we watched the sun rise. Another 1st, sunrise for a very long time! Took lotsa...I shall call it postcard pictures. Coz I think they really look like those tourism postcard pictures.
Once the stalls are opened, we went to have our breakfast. And we passed by the morning market.
I normally don't fancy market, but when I'm travelling. I love them alot. Ahhh Chatuchak Market in Bangkok!!!
Marketing for kuih-muih.
The dodgy place we had the super sweet tea and coffee.
After an energetic breakfast, we explored Marang to wait for the ferry to come.
WTF? Who goes to an island to see graves.
Terengganu under BN's rule. Yet PAS flags everywhere. Lolz the project sound so hi-tech. So much so it is in English.
Seriously a BN's candy to the people there. I wonder what flavour?
OMFreakingGod. Even the water at the jetty is that clear. U can really see the bottom and the fishes have colours. Lolz so so so jakun.
Then, it's time to leave Marang.
In 15 minutes we reached Pulau Kapas.
Look at the water.
OMFG it's blue and it has fishes in it. Seriously living in the city for too long that you go super jakun when u see all these with ur own eyes.
And it's all near the jetty. Since when jetty is so clean?
Then we checked into the Kapas Island Resort.
Which is next to the
Hybrid Station. Whoa never knew BN was such a fast worker.
The map of the island. And there's freaking shark bay!
Pictures of the lovely resort...
Cafe overlooking the beach.
And the rooms.
Lunch is served.
The rooms.
So that's the journey and the resort. More on the activities later. I shall end this post with this...
I *heart* Pulau Kapas! (coral=heart) Don't ask so much. And notice that the snails are copulating.

Big Boys Oven:The place is just "tak boleh jadi"! Just need a place to sit only. Next time should go over to Pulau Kapas.

it is quite common to take shelter any almost anywhere on your travels, especially you are travelling by backpacking. i have done it at train stations, park, etc. but to do it in malaysia, it will give me some second thoughts...
